Happy End of Semester/Finals

Hello lovelies!

Can you believe the semester is almost over?  I can’t.  Can you believe ASB registration is in 51 days?!  GAHHHH!

We would like to wish you a very happy finals and a very happy winter break.  Spend the time relaxing, dreaming about ASB, and telling all your friends that PROJECT OPEN HAND IN ATLANTA is the place to be!

At the time of this blog post, it is a whopping 45 degrees in Atlanta.  Sounds like beach weather to me!  Over our break, the average high is 53 degrees in Atlanta.  Balmy.

Hey yall! Wanna know something cool? Well Ben and Onyema are models (you didnt know that did you?!?!?! BOO-YAH!)

World AIDS Day

Hello everyone! Today is World AIDS Day. This issue is especially important to us because of the nature of our trip. Wear red today and educate yourself on HIV/AIDS.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates at the end of 2007, there were 599,819 people living with a diagnosis of HIV infection. During 2008, there were an estimated 42,439 new diagnoses of HIV infection. Adult or adolescent males accounted for nearly three-quarters of new HIV diagnoses.
